The Silliman Alumni Association, Inc. (SAAI) Kidapawan Chapter donated the amount of P50, 000 for the repainting of the Alumni Conference Room and the purchase of a wall-type air-conditioning unit.

The donation, done through the chapter president, Erlinda Solis Doblas, was acknowledged by Judge Rafael Crescencio C. Tan Jr., executive secretary, in a letter of receipt of the donation, saying that “the generosity will inspire other chapters to be generous as well.”

According to Judge Tan, a representative of the chapter attended the SAAI board meeting on March 18, 2016 to present their proposal, which was accepted gladly by the board.

Henceforth, the conference room, where many important decisions are made regarding alumni-related matters, would then be known as the Kidapawan Chapter Conference Room. (by Cecile Madronal Genove)
